About The Woolgatherer’s Almanac

The Woolgatherer’s Almanac is a living calendar of making and the turning year.

Through fibre, landscape, spoken word and music, I explore the seasons as they unfold.

This is a place for those who feel most at home in hedgerows, fields and footpaths. For those who like their creativity rooted in something real. For makers, readers and listeners who value slow process, exploration and space to pause.

Over time, The Woolgatherer’s Almanac will grow to include shared make-alongs, seasonal Book Gatherings and small, thoughtful releases inspired by the landscape and the year.

I’m Nicola Jerrome, a maker and musician based in Somerset.

The Woolgatherer’s Almanac brings together the threads of my creative life – fibre, sound and landscape – in rhythm with the turning year.
